Radiology

Often, x-rays are needed in order to determine your pet’s disorder. Films/images allow us to see inside the animal to organs and bones that are hard to feel on a physical exam.  The number of images that need to be taken is difficult to predict since abnormalities on one file may necessitate additional films in order to better define the problem and determine the appropriate treatment for your pet.

Our state-of-the-art equipment and top-notch doctors and techs obtain the diagnostic images necessary to properly treat your pet. But, because animals do not lie perfectly still, sedation or general anesthesia may be required in order to get quality films.
